Welcome to Blanc Bleu, a spacious studio nestled on the hillside within the IDOLEM residence. Inspired by the coastal villages of the Cyclades and the Caribbean art of living, the place was designed as a haven of peace: a simple, bright and personal address, to rest, read, stroll and enjoy the French side of Saint-Martin.
The story
The spirit of Blanc Bleu
Blanc Bleu was born from a simple vision: to reveal the potential of a studio with an original layout, preserving its soul and history as much as possible. Rather than a cold or standardized renovation, the place evolves step by step, like a well-built old sailboat restored with patience.
White, blue, simple lines, reused existing materials, repurposed furniture and wall frescoes inspired by the movement of the breeze: every detail seeks the balance between Caribbean relaxation and the Mediterranean art of living. The wall frescoes were hand-painted by the host himself.

Blanc Bleu is an open, bright and spacious studio. The main room brings together the sleeping area, living space and storage in a fluid layout. The equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals simply, while the terrace invites you to extend your mornings, read quietly or enjoy the breeze at the end of the day.

The terrace and kitchen
The terrace is a true living space with no overlooking neighbours, connected to the kitchen with an open view over the protected Chevrise pond — a lounge corner for aperitifs, a table for dining outside, and a hammock to let time pass under the tropical breeze.
Light, wind, changing colors: the terrace lives to the rhythm of the island.

For your comfort and safety, the studio is equipped with an ultra-fast fiber optic connection, ideal for remote work. The accommodation has a smoke detector and, being fully electric, presents no carbon monoxide risk.

The IDOLEM residence is a small white hillside residence, made up of a few units connected by narrow stairs in a Mediterranean village spirit. Its simple architecture, pool and yoga deck create a discreet atmosphere, far from impersonal large complexes.

Blanc Bleu is located in Mont Vernon 1, on the French side of Saint-Martin, within the IDOLEM residence. An ideal location to enjoy the northeast of the island — Orient Bay beach is a 7-minute walk from the residence, and the finest beaches, restaurants and water activities are within a 10-minute drive.
